Implants

Implants are replacements for tooth roots that have been removed. They are surgically placed into the jaw bone as a support for single crowns. Multiple implants can support dentures and bridges as a means of replacing multiple missing teeth. We can help you determine whether dental implants are an option for you.

Crowns

Crowns are used to replace severely decayed teeth, fractured teeth, or large fillings that may lead to fractures. Crowns require two appointments, during your first appointment your tooth is prepared for the crown and an impression of the prepared tooth is made and sent to a dental lab. Crowns are made from metals such as gold or stainless steel or ceramics such as porcelain. They are shaped like the original tooth and are custom fit to your bite. The crown is checked for fit and cemented in place at your next visit. Crowns support the remaining, weakened tooth structure to help protect it from further damage.

Bridges

Bridges are similar to crowns in the way they are fabricated. The only difference between a bridge and a crown is that a bridge is used to replace one or more teeth using the two teeth on either side of the space. They can also be made from metal, ceramics, or a combination of both. Bridges and crowns can last many years with proper maintenance and home care.

Root Canals

Root canals help alleviate painful teeth that are injured, infected, or severely decayed. Often root canals can be done in one appointment providing quick relief to teeth that would otherwise need to be extracted. Root canalled teeth may need crowns to rebuild tooth structure and restore proper function.

Wisdom Teeth Extractions

Wisdom teeth sometimes need to be removed to relieve pain, prevent infection, to prevent movement of other teeth. During your examination we can determine whether wisdom teeth extractions are indicated for you.

Dentures

We can design and fabricate full or partial dentures to replace missing teeth helping restore eating and speaking ability. Dentures can help restore a smile to patients who have been missing multiple teeth. Our dentures are custom fitted to match you mouth for comfort and retention. Implants or mini-implants can be placed to add stability to loose dentures.
